I'm in love with the world of Doom, since the first Doom 3 trailer came out in 2004. The well crafted tension trough shadow and light was just crazy. A huge inspiration for this fanart was a concept design made by "Thomas Elliott".
I was so fascinated by this raw and brutal design, that I couldn't resist making my own version of the Hellknight. One of my biggest intentions was to create a hybrid of modern Doom graphics and Doom 3 esthetics.

Overall this character project was an awesome experience. I had so much fun working on the proportions, painting the skin textures and bringing everything in Unreal 5 together.
